Volunteers Make a Difference! Be a part of the positive change that you want for your child's school. During Back to School Night families were given a form listing many exciting ways to be involved. Whether you may be interested in a simple one time event or a more long term project, be a part of the positive movement . With your help, Laurel School can offer even more enriching activities and events for your child. Help make a difference.

California English Language Development Test (CELDT)

Preparing for the California English Language Development Test (CELDT)- If you have a child who is an English language learner, please join us for an informational meeting on (F) October 1, 2010 at 8:00AM about their upcoming CELDT. This meeting will provide ways parents can provide additional support at home to help their child succeed. Parents will receive a handout with examples of the types of problems that will be tested. The CELDT is a very important part of the educational process and your child needs you to attend this meeting to support their learning at home.

API ON THE RISE

Our new API (academic performance index) score is now 793. That's more than a 50 point increase from the year before. Well done Laurel Panthers! Let's keep up your hard work!
